Saratoga Racing Club: The Team
The SRC Partnership will be managed by a three-person team that will closely work with trainer, Mark Hennig, to ensure we're making the best decisions for our horses and Partners.
Mark Hennig (Trainer)
As a teenager, Mark spent his summers working for either his father, trainer John Hennig or his friend, Neil Howard. He later landed a job working with Hall Of Fame trainer, Jack Van Berg, in May of 1987. He worked in Southern California for Van Berg, before he was hired by Hall Of Fame trainer D. Wayne Lukas. Over his 25+ year career as a trainer, he's amassed over 9,800 starts, 1,400 wins and over $75MM in earning
Joe Tartaglia
As Managing Partner of Little Blue Bird Stables, Joe has led the charge in growth of the business and the barn. He's built strong relationships with each of our trainers and has been the liaison between our training teams and Partners. He's a lifelong fan of horse racing and spent many of his weekends at Belmont Park and Aqueduct over the years.
John Sbrogna
As a financial advisor, John’s mission is to assist individuals, families and business owners in defining their financial goals and achieving financial freedom. He joins LBB Stables as a key member of our Saratoga Racing Club to help provide support for achieving our Partnership's financial goals. He too has been a lifelong racing fan, who currently resides in Massachusetts but spends many a weekends at Saratoga during the summer.
