In partnership with Liberty House Racing, LBB Stables has added two new MD-Bred fillies to the barn, including this quick, compact filly by Holy Boss out of the dam Ciella. She was a $40K purchase at the OBS June Sale where she breezed 2F in a very strong 10.2 seconds and looked very good doing it. She's currently in light training, with the goal to start racing in the fall of 2023.

What We Liked About Her & The Game Plan

- She is a lightly framed filly that is very quick on her toes!
​
- Her sire, Holy Boss, is one of the strongest new sires in the Mid-Atlantic and is currently ranked 6th in the state of Maryland with 21 winners out of 49 starters this year.
​
- There's plenty of production on the dam side, including Stakes winners Sky Conqueror and Ballerina Queen.
​
- Our 2yo filly is Maryland Millions nominated and in training at Laurel Park where she will begin her on-track preparations for her debut race under trainer Lacey Gaudet.
Trainer - Lacey Gaudet
Lacey grew up with horses at her family’s farm in Upper Marlboro, Md., and now is at the helm of one of the largest stables at Laurel Park. She was an assistant to her father during the summer when he was based at Monmouth Park, and has worked for trainers Helen Pitts in Florida and Tom Albertrani and Allen Iwinski in New York. Gaudet is an advocate of cooperation and following through on initiatives that are in the best interest of Maryland racing.
